With so many events covering a whole host of MTB disciplines
around the world, why choose Wales360?
On the route, you will experience the thrilling singletrack
of Gwydir forest and Llandegla, take in the views as you traverse the Kerry
Ridgeway and discover unique unridden sections of wilderness trail.
Waking up in the Wales360 tented village, you will be
surrounded by the excited buzz of riders preparing for the days stage. Who will
win the leaders jersey on today’s timed section? What will the terrain be
like…and where can I get my breakfast?
Having finished your locally sourced and freshly prepared
Welsh breakfast, collect your bike from our secure bike park and head over to
the start. Every rider will be issued with a radio incorporating a GPS tracking
device, so you can feel secure setting off on the days adventure. Should you
need it, help and support are never far away. There will be 4 refuelling stops
throughout the day with a selection of sports nutrition, drinks and some more
substantial snacks for lunch. You will also be able to collect your fully
charged spare battery from the feed stop if you’re riding an eMTB.
At the finish of each stage, hand your bike to a member of
the bike washing team. They will make sure it’s washed and lubed and taken back
to the secure bike park, ready for you to collect next morning. When you reach
your tent, you will find your bag and a clean towel waiting for you, so you can
grab a hot shower, rest, recoup and get ready to do it all again!
Evenings in the Wales360 village will be centered around the bar and entertainment in the marquee. In the marquee you’ll be able to discuss the days adventures with your fellow explorers (perhaps take in a short highlights film from the day too), enjoy a delicious evening meal cooked on site by the crew and rehydrate with a complimentary local beer.
